Jasheim “Jay7” Wade

Jasheim “Jay7” Wade is the founder and President of LaGrand Records. Professionally known as The Untouchable DJ Jay7, he is also a recording artist, songwriter, DJ, and entertainment entrepreneur. His work connects the creative priorities of artists with the management and operational responsibilities of running an independent label.

Wade’s experience includes talent discovery, artist development, road management, and tour coordination. He became involved with the AMG Twinz early in their careers, serving as their original manager and later in road management and executive management. Working directly with artists through development and touring has given him firsthand experience of the organization, relationships, and follow-through behind a music career.

A U.S. Army infantry combat veteran, Wade brings a background in leadership and operations to his executive work. As President, he guides LaGrand Records’ direction, artist-development priorities, release planning, and business relationships. He also serves as President of LaGrand Publishing, connecting the label’s focus on artists and recordings with a separate division dedicated to songwriters and compositions.
